Learn to Lead
To address the evolving needs of a growing community, Leadership Clark County provides an annual, comprehensive learning program, known as the Community Leadership Academy. This program is an eight-session course focused on addressing community service, leadership skills and governance issues.
Through a strategically developed curriculum, the Community Leadership Academy provides its participants the opportunity to:
- Discover Springfield's historical significance
- Learn about and participate in local collaborative efforts.
- Cultivate the appropriate skills necessary for board governance
- Explore various fundraising techniques
- Network with key community leaders and business professionals from both the nonprofit and for profit sectors.
